When I began serious writing several years ago, my musings took the form of lengthy essays on a wide range of topics including freedom, democracy and technology, and quickly assembled into several full length books. As my interests migrated to spirituality and fiction, I selected a handful of extracts from my previous books with the intention of re-crafting for submission to a major national magazine.
After a series of distractions and false starts I am now reconciled to this not happening, but it is with a tinge of regret, for I was very fond of several of my discourses. The four essays included as samples are topics that particularly interest me.
